A dental X-ray, or dental X-ray, is a commonly performed diagnostic examination that is very helpful in developing a dental treatment plan. The X-ray shows many details of the dentition, including potential pathological changes that the dentist would not be able to observe during a standard examination. Not only the teeth, but also the tissues in the mouth, the jawbone and the temporomandibular joint are visualised.
