What specialisations do we distinguish in dentistry?

What does restorative dentistry and paedodontics consist of?

One of main specialisation in dentistry is conservative dentistry. It focuses on keeping teeth healthy, including caries prevention. Specialists in conservative dentistry carry out hygienist treatments such as sandblasting, tartar removal and fluoridation. They also carry out treatment of caries and tooth sensitivity. Endodontics, on the other hand, is a field that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
